Other things that are offered are Catechism classes, Teen Intern Training, Teacher and Parent Training, Tutoring, and materials from the Parent/Teacher Resource Center.
Children's church is great! We go downstairs on Sunday mornings to learn more about worship, music, missions, and prayer. And, of course, we get to hear God's word.
During the school year, tutoring is available Wednesdays 3:30-5pm (K-6th grades). Study hall ends with food! Computer available during all sessions.
During July and August, we host a free Summer Reading and Arts program. Come by Tuesday or Thursday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Preschoolers and kindergarteners can listen to stories by our great readers and storytellers. Those in primary and middle schools can work with reading tutors.
Besides May Valley Alliance Church, the Summer Reading and Arts Program is sponsored by the Issaquah Kiwanis Club, the Key Clubs of Liberty and Issaquah High Schools, the Issaquah School District, and the King County Library System.
