Sisters in Christ -- Ordinary Women Serving an Extraordinary God

Marge Sisters in Christ encourages women to become involved in outreach both as individuals and as teams in partnership with other ministries to meet needs through designed projects - raising necessary funds for materials and expenses.

Past outreaches include working at the Union Gospel Mission in downtown Seattle and since 1995, sending a building/evangelistic team to Mexico every year. Interest in future outreaches include: soup kitchens, food distribution, orphanages, the homeless, teaching Bible studies, teaching crafts and sewing, construction and maintenance projects, medical missions, and teaching ESL (English as a Second Language).

Sisters in Christ has a brunch meeting usually in January, May, and September with a guest speaker and others reporting on their outreaches plus a worship and prayer time. If you are interested in being on their mailing list, receiving more information, or becoming a part of their team, talk with Marge or Sandy.

This year's trip is October 13-20. Here are more details on the annual Mexico housebuild and a blurb on frequently asked questions. See photos from an earlier trip.
